Dr. Shelby Blankenship attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville where she graduated with a BS in Biomedical Engineering. She attended Tennessee State University earning her Clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy. During her time as a physical therapist, Shelby has specialized in working with older adults, patients post stroke, and pelvic health issues. She holds a Level 1 certification in Dry Needling with extra course work focused on the pelvic floor as well as her Crossfit Level 1. When not working, she can be found teaching with the Older Adult division for the Institute of Clinical Excellence, joining in on a Crossfit class, or spending time with her husband, Cory, and their dog, Sully.

Cory Blankenship holds his BS in Sport Management and attended Belmont University to earn his Master’s in Sport and Recreation Administration. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Adaptive and Inclusive certified trainer, a certified kettlebell instructor, and holds his Crossfit Level 1. Cory has more than 10 years of experience in strength and conditioning and has worked with all age and skill levels ranging from children to professional athletes. Cory currently works full time as a firefighter/EMT. He enjoys CrossFit, traveling with his wife, Shelby, and music and movies from the 80’s.
